THE INTERVIEW

CelebFakirs.com: Why the Faking Alias?
Slizio: In fact it's just a typo, it was suppose to be "Sleazio", a pun on sleazy.
But I've registered at the Strip as "Slizio", when I realized my mistake it was too late...
plus, "Sleazio" doesn't look as cool as "Slizio" in my opinion.

CelebFakirs.com: How did you find out celebrity faking existed?
Slizio: Well, like everybody who's looking for real naked pics of celebrities, I've stumbled upon some fake ones.
at that time it was a disappointment to find out the pic you are looking at is fake, but obviously I've learned to like them

CelebFakirs.com: What was the first fake you ever saw and who faked it?
Slizio: Wow, that's really taking me back... let's see...
Well, I can't really put my finger on the first one I've seen, that's probably because it was crap, since at that time fakirs weren't all that good.
But the first fakes that left an impression, were probably the fakes made at the B-spot.com which was a Married with Children dedicated site.
at that time they had some great fakes, some of them were Stonewolf's fakes.

CelebFakirs.com: What made you get into faking?
Slizio: In fact the first fake I've ever done was a bet with a friend, I said I could do a good one and he said I couldn't, the result was obviously crappy.
But it made me get into it and improve myself.

CelebFakirs.com: Who was the lucky celeb who was first faked by yourself?
Slizio: Well, I don't have the alleged first fake, sadly it was lost in a computer crash, but it was of Alyssa Milano.
Fortunately, my oldest fake (un-official first fake) is of Alyssa Milano too...

CelebFakirs.com: When did you do you're first fake?
Slizio: My first fake was done in 1998, but the above one was done in 2002.

CelebFakirs.com: Who has been the biggest influence in you're faking career to date?
Slizio: Hmmm, tough one... Well, there's not any one person in particular...
I really like MrOwl's fakes, he was the first that inspired some theme fakes.
Doc Fakenhouser and DrHeinz probably inspired my overall style, through WIPing and advice.

CelebFakirs.com: Who would you consider to be the best fakir around at the moment?
Slizio: Well, I don't think that there's just one Fakir that's the best all around.
There are a lot of great fakirs around like MrOwl, Proto, Hypo, Fubar, DrHeinz and lots more that I haven't mentioned, but none of them holds the title "best fakir around".

CelebFakirs.com: Who would you consider to be the best fakir of all time?
Slizio: As I said before, I don't think that there's one in particular...
Naming one of the fakirs best of all time, is like naming the greatest song of all time, it will probably be a recent one because that's what we remember and it will probably won't be true...
Fakirs and songs will come and go and in the end I don't think that any of them will be best of all time.

CelebFakirs.com: And for the future, do you see any fresh faces that you think will go on to be the best one day?
Slizio: Well, there's a lot of promise in the new cats around (no best of all time material, but still good).
Splanky showed some great stuff in the last KNFC (3)...
Holden and TC3, although not that new, are still new in my book...
and I really think that DSNY is showing a lot of promise in the CO department.
That's the ppl I've seen, I might be missing a few... sorry...

CelebFakirs.com: What do you consider to be you're best fake to date?
Slizio: Hmmm, that's another tough one...
I've got about 10-15 fakes that I really consider the best...
The one that I picked out is an oldy but a goody, it's probably my first fav fake, so that's why I picked it...

CelebFakirs.com: What has been the highlight of you're career so far?
Slizio: I think that becoming a High Roller at the Strip was quite a big deal for me and still is.
Because as I recall it, becoming a High Roller was some what of a deal back in the day.
I was honored to become one, and to get some congratulations from ppl that I thought highly of as fakirs, especially Doc Fakenhouser.
Although, it was short lived, because not too long after The Strip closed, but still a highlight.
and looking forward to many more.

CelebFakirs.com: Why the alter-ego choice?
Slizio: Funny you should ask, because I recently changed my alter-ego.
Leisure Suit Larry was my first, and that was just because I loved the game and Larry seemed like a guy that would hang out in the fake community.
But recently I've made a dramatic change to Ed Norton, and that's just because the guy kindda looks like me (and I got pretty tired of Larry).

CelebFakirs.com: If you could marry any celeb who would it be?

I don't think that I would marry a celeb...

CelebFakirs.com: And who would be you're bit on the side?
Slizio: Alyssa Milano.

CelebFakirs.com: Where do you see yourself in 5, 10 years time?
Slizio: If the faking community will still be at large, and won't go into total underground...
I'll probably still be poking around the forums, checking out the new ppl, talking to the old guys.
I'll probably still do some faking here and there...

CelebFakirs.com: Where do you see the faking world being in 5, 10 years time?
Slizio: If it's still going to be around (a big question)...
I think that ppl will have a better start, I think it will become easier to create the great fakes of today with technology advances.
Maybe some 3D fakes will begin to emerge, but definitely not really advanced ones.
I hope some cool places will still be open like the Fake Place and NFC.

CelebFakirs.com: Finally.... Celebrity fakes, art or porn?
Slizio: The eternal question, are we just pervs or artists?
Well, there's no easy answer to this, I think that this is in the eye of the beholder...
Meaning, the person that looks at the fake will have to decide if he/she is looking at porn or art, ppl often jump to the porn answer...
but if you consider the effort and usually amount of thought that was put into those fakes you will see the art.

Anyway, I've seen a lot of fakes that I consider art, but I've also seen plain vanila porn fakes, in the end the answer here is up to you the viewer.
