THE
INTERVIEW
CelebFakirs.com: How did you find out celebrity
faking existed?
Hypo: can't remember exactly, but i'm pretty sure it had to do
with seeing gillian anderson naked. fredd38's were amongst the first
ones i found and those and others i found were pretty amazing to the
untrained eye.
CelebFakirs.com: What was the first fake you
ever saw and who faked it?
Hypo: i dont think the first one i saw was even signed.
CelebFakirs.com: What/who made you get into
faking?
Hypo: purely for wanking purposes, i wanted to see celebrities nude and
this proved to be only way. im not sure what initially got me onto
forums which was my road to the community but that turned me into an
active faker.
CelebFakirs.com: Who has been the biggest
influence in you're faking career to date?
Hypo: ill name two, back when i was still doing candid fakes, hardcore
and all that, it was definitely fastu who i still think is great. then
as i started to move to softer grounds, vincent had just taken a whole
new line in his work so he became a major insipiration and at times
mentor. and ill also have to mention jello, because i've always loved
his work
CelebFakirs.com: What was you're
first ever fake?
Hypo: i propably dont have that one left, but the earliest....

CelebFakirs.com: how do you feel
when you look at it now?
Hypo: nothing much, i'm not ashamed of it... a bit of pride maybe
because i didnt have much if any skills at that point with paint shop
pro 6 or whatever i was using at that point.
CelebFakirs.com: Do you remember
the date and where you posted it?
Hypo: may or june 2003, at the laundr-o-mat v3
Hypo: make that 2002 btw, mind slipped
CelebFakirs.com: Wouldn't that take you to 17?
Hypo: yep,
CelebFakirs.com: Did the black devils know you
were 17?
Hypo: nope, i lied, i was 19 and so forth
CelebFakirs.com: You started
faking early in life, do you think that was an advantage or disadvantage
in progressing you're faking skills?
Hypo: an advantage in a way that i was learning graphic designing at
school just before i became active so when i got into it i could jump
that awkward noob phase pretty easily... other than that, i haven't seen
age make much of a difference in the community at all.
CelebFakirs.com: Who has been the
biggest influence in you're faking career to date?
Hypo: ill name two, back when i was still doing candid fakes, hardcore
and all that, it was definitely fastu who i still think is great. then
as i started to move to softer grounds, vincent had just taken a whole
new line in his work so he became a major insipiration and at times
mentor. and ill also have to mention jello, because i've always loved
his work
CelebFakirs.com: Who would you consider to be the
best fakir around at the moment?
Hypo: proto
CelebFakirs.com: Who would you consider to be the
best fakir of all time?
Hypo: lets say vincent and not just because theres no way his head can
get any bigger
CelebFakirs.com: Why do you think he is the best?
Hypo: great style and technical excellence
CelebFakirs.com: And for the future, do you see
any fresh faces that you think will go on to be the best one day?
Hypo: tough one... but there are obvious answers who are already great
and will be remembered if they keep it up. also, a few new faces who are
gonna go far if they manage to find good mentors
CelebFakirs.com: What
do you consider to be you're own best fake ever?

CelebFakirs.com: and
what do you think is the best fake by any fakir ever made?
Hypo: best fake ever... no idea, im not a collector so i cant even
remember all the impressive ones and propably couldnt even choose out of
those anyways
CelebFakirs.com: What has been the highlight of
you're career so far?
Hypo: personal progress is always the highlight, when i make a major
breakthrough or just plain realize "fuck, i'm getting good at this".
that doesn't happen often and hasn't happened in a while
but i remember all the previous times
CelebFakirs.com: who and Why for you're alter-ego
choice?
Hypo: im using bruce campbell which should speak for itself ...the
original reason was just plainly that i love the guys work and now the
av is living a bit of life of its own so its a win-win
CelebFakirs.com: If you could marry any celeb who
would it be?
Hypo: lol, i was wondering when these question would come up. i wouldnt
marry a celeb, period
CelebFakirs.com: And
who would be you're bit on the side?
Hypo: im thinking but im not horny enough to answer it right now i guess
i have favorite celebrities but theyre not the answer to that question
CelebFakirs.com: Do
you have funny stories to tell us?
Hypo: yeah, but theyre all "you had to be there" kinda funny.
CelebFakirs.com:
Where do you see yourself in 5, 10 years time?
Hypo: wouldn't mind hanging around for that long, i like the community,
but i doubt that's gonna happen.
CelebFakirs.com:
where do you see the faking world being in 5, 10 years time?
Hypo: faking itself will be exactly the same as ever, level of quality
may be a bit higher but not by much. everything innovative will be
dependant on what adobe does with photoshop.
and lots of people have been talking about rendering 3D celebs and
videofaking becoming as popular as plain faking but i think that's all
bullshit
CelebFakirs.com:
Finally.... Celebrity fakes, art or porn?
