-- am currently admin at The Fake Place,
-- ran various fakir E-groups, (back when they were popular)
-- acted as a recruiter for scottss.com, and pulled a couple dozen
fakirs into the faking community,

CelebFakirs.com: How did you find out
celebrity faking existed? Fubar: around '98 i stumbled onto a fake site (badnewsbear) while
looking for a celeb wallpaper, found it amusing ... jumped off on the
links to a few other sites, (tazziez, peter bieork??, fredd38, sank)
then i logged off (for a few years .. and never thought about fakes
again)

you ever saw and who faked it? Fubar: fake by badnewsbear ... dont remember who of,
CelebFakirs.com: What made you get into
faking? Fubar: logged on one day (yahoo clubs) .... saw some really tiny,
crap fakes and thought i could do better.
CelebFakirs.com: Who was the lucky celeb
who was first faked by yourself?Fubar: It was gillian
anderson, dont have it, .... earliest fake i know still exists is one of
amanda holden (brit celeb) wearing a blue corset, saw it a few months
ago (but didnt save it)
CelebFakirs.com: When did you do you're
first fake? Fubar: i'll got a really shit memory for dates .... (june) 2002?,
think it was september that year i first used the name 'fubar free'
CelebFakirs.com: Who has been the biggest
influence in you're faking career to date? Fubar: cant name one ... so i'll name them all, in order,

CelebFakirs.com: Who would you consider to
be the best fakir around at the moment? Fubar: for a long time i would have said, TFP
... but there are a batch now and i wouldnt be able to decide between
them, ... TFP, Vincent, MrOwl, Proto, with Hypo somewhere in the shadows
close by.
CelebFakirs.com: Who would you consider to
be the best fakir of all time? Fubar: Yovo, because he gave the people what they wanted, and was
extremely active,
But he's not the most talented, into that catagory go names like ...

see any fresh faces that you think will go on to be the best one day?
Fubar: a few but i'm not going to name them, (dont wanna jinx
them)

ever? Fubar: haven't made it yet,
of all my fakes though ... there are probably only a dozen i am pleased
with. Happiest with...
CelebFakirs.com: What has
been the highlight of you're career so far? Fubar: Being Admin and Mod at all the places i have helped,
and having helped a string of newbies become better fakirs than i am,
i'm only a 2nd rate fakir skill wise,
so i'm glad to have helped the fakir community in other ways,
if i had to pick just one moment,
it would be one night at scottss,
talking to both Vincent and Doc Fakenhouser, at the same time,
Doc was kicking around the idea of setting up a forum, and Vince was
telling me how forums need a theme or idea to push the on, and how he
was bored with the current faking scene,
2 parallel conversations, (and i think it was fate they both happened to
be talking to me at the same time,)
... i remember telling Vince "you should talk to Doc, he's thinking
about setting up a forum" and saying to Doc "you should talk to Vince,
he's got some interesting idea's about forums"
my involvement pretty much ended there,
until i got invited to run a team in the first Cup,

old Burt suits me thou, as i'm pushy and opinionated,

celeb who would it be? Fubar: Rachel Weisz or Kate Winslet,
and i'd have Hypo and TFP as bridesmaids,

bit on the side? Fubar: Keira Knightley or Kate Beckinsale,

to tell us? Fubar: not without either embarrassing myself or one of my peers,

in 5, 10 years time? Fubar: retired

faking world being in 5, 10 years time? Fubar: Banned, and underground as soon as a single body become
responsible for governing the internet.
CelebFakirs.com: Finally.... Celebrity
fakes, art or porn? Fubar: Both,
depending on the fake,
fakes created to arouse .... are porn, (wank factor fakes)
but fakes created just to visually or mentally stimulate are ... Art,
(and some are a bit of both)
i should point that i couldnt compare fakes with any traditional art,
