THE
INTERVIEW
CelebFakirs.com: How did you find out celebrity faking existed?
Like TFP, I 'invented' it around 1993. The first time I saw other
peoples fakes was around 1998.
CelebFakirs.com: What was the first fake you ever
saw and who faked it?
I did, I don't remember who the celeb was.
CelebFakirs.com: What made you get into faking?
For the obvious reasons. I'd make a couple of fakes a year just for fun,
but I had no clue what I was doing. I never got "into" faking until I
became part of the 'fake forum' community, about a year ago.
CelebFakirs.com: Who has been the biggest
influence in your faking career to date?
Owl, Proto, TFP and Hypo.
CelebFakirs.com: Who would you consider to be the
best fakir around at the moment?
Aesthetically Hypo, technically TFP and all-around Proto.
CelebFakirs.com: And for the future, do you see
any fresh faces that you think will go on to be the best one day?
There are two that immediately come to mind, but neither will be "the
best one day". Thats a real shame too, because one of them is me.
CelebFakirs.com: What do you consider to be you're
best fake to date?
These aren't necessarily my best but they're my favorites. Claire Danes.
And this one still makes me laugh.
CelebFakirs.com: What has been the highlight of your career so far?
I guess that would be the ignominy of Fake Detective case #416.
CelebFakirs.com: Why the alter-ego choice?
When I first arrived on the scene at the Strip in May 2005, I challenged
all the highest ranked fakirs to a duel. I provided a piece of music
that was meant to be played whilst reading the challenge, a rip off of a
Hugo Montenegro Spaghetti Western thing. I meant it as a bit of absurd
humor but it left people scratching their heads, as is often the case.
Anyways, in keeping with the Spaghetti Western theme, I adopted Clint
Eastwood as my alter-ego.
CelebFakirs.com: If you could marry any celeb who
would it be?
The one with the biggest bazzooms.
CelebFakirs.com: And who would be you're bit on
the side?
The one with the second biggest bazzooms.
CelebFakirs.com: Where do you see yourself in 5,
10 years time?
Hopefully hanging out with my friends and faking.
CelebFakirs.com: Where do you see the faking world
being in 5, 10 years time?
Into 3D modeling and animation probably. The Olsen twins and tentacle
sex... it's destiny.
CelebFakirs.com: Finally.... Celebrity fakes, art
or porn?
Well, people crap on a canvas, smear it around and call it art. So sure,
faking can be art, but there's a lot of shit out there.
